Welcome to Ibiza! Make your way to our Ibiza hotel and then gather in the hotel lobby at 6.30pm as we meet both the other tour members and the guide. Listen up for a fast and informal meeting with the leader including a short brief about the adventure ahead and information about Ibiza. After the meeting, there is an optional group dinner available before popping your Ibiza cherry.
After breakfast you have plenty of available time to sightsee the town, chill by the pool, lay by the beach, drink … do what you fancy. There is also the option of a guided orientation walk. In the afternoon your tour leader will take you on an epic boat party cruise and then later on we’ll go to one of the many renowned clubs.
Ibiza & Madrid
After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and will be transferred to Ibiza airport where we will catch a flight to Madrid. Once you’ve arrived in Madrid you’ll be transferred to the hotel.In the evening we will have optional group dinner. as we meet both the other tour members and the guide. Listen up for a fast and informal meeting with the tour guide including a short brief about the adventure ahead and information about Spain and Portugal. After the meeting, the group will go out together to see the Royal Palace by night, the Plaza Mayor, and then grab a bite to eat at the Mercado de San Miguel night markets.
Madrid City Tour, Granada
After breakfast, we depart for a three-hour bus tour of Madrid. Along the way, you’ll visit the bull ring, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real, Cathedral and the Plaza de Oriente, Prado Museum, Paseo del Arte and the Centro de Arte Reina Sofi. Once finished we stop at Puerta del Sol for lunch and then drive to Granada. We arrive in Granada in the evening and after checking into the hotel we will go out for an optional group dinner.
Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla
Today we leave early to go on an orientation tour through Alhambra, a palace and fortress complex located in Granada. This is one of the major highlights to visit whilst in Spain. After the tour is finished we drive to Cordoba. Here, we’ll take a guided tour through the Jewish quarter and will visit Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, a medieval castle located in the historic centre of Cordoba. We then drive to Sevilla and head out for an optional group dinner once we’ve arrived.
In the morning, we take a bus and walking tour of Sevilla. We drive by the bull ring, stop in at the Plaza de España, Cathedral of St. Mary, Giralda tower, Reales Alcázares, the neighbourhood of Santa Cruz (former Jewish quarter), Parque de Maria Luisa, La Plaza de América and Mudejar Pavilion. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time and will then have the option to join in on a group dinner and attend a flamenco show.
Sevilla, Lagos, Lisbon
It’s time to check out Portugal! On our way to the capital of Portugal we stop in at the beach town and backpackers’ paradise of Lagos. Here we’ll have lunch, swim and enjoy the beautiful beaches. We then drive to Lisbon. Once settled in we will go for an optional group dinner followed by the opportunity to check out some of the local bars and night scene.
Lisbon City Tour
After breakfast, we’ll take a city tour visiting the Cathedral, the chapel of Joao Gordo, the Church and Tower of Clerics, the Arabian hall, the Church of Sao Francisco and Praça de la Ribera square. You’ll then have the afternoon to yourself to explore Lisbon. There will be the option to meet for a group dinner in the evening.
Today we leave Portugal and make our way back to Madrid, the capital of Spain.
